Landon Eskew, site administrator of the new twisterspecial.com is the proud owner of this fine automobile. It was purchased in June of 2014 from a gentleman on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan. This man bought the car in 1988 and only put 3,000 miles on it in the 26 years he owned it. Prior to him, a couple with the last name of Stimson had owned it and had it restored. I got with them and they informed me that they bought it off a small used car dealership in Michigan around 1975, and the one fault the car has... Its non-numbers-matching engine, was already a part of the car by the time they got it in the mid 70s. They believed that the original 429SCJ had blown up somewhere between 1970-1975 and I don't have any further information on its origins.
This car has since went on to receive multiple show awards in Western North Dakota and will continue to remain in my possession for the rest of the foreseeable future.

Real quickly though, the car was resprayed in 1987 and they forgot to put the decals back on it. Here's how I received in in July of 2014 after driving to Detroit to pick it up. Bought what I thought was just a regular old Cobra and got extremely lucky after pulling the Marti Report! Having this car in my life has fueled the passion to keep the Twister Special alive and well online!
