Editor note: Ernest Edmunds contacted the new Twister Special Registry on June 3, 2017 to inform us of his Twister.
Ernest writes:
This is my 1970 Ford Mustang Twister Special, 428SCJ, 4 speed, 40000 original miles. This survivor was in the showroom of a Ford dealer in Kentucky for more than 20 years to sell other Mustangs. I purchased my dream car and brought it back to Quebec, Canada in 1996, drove it for one year, then put in storage my heated garage due to life, kids, wife, buisness, etc. I finally plan on putting her back on the road very soon. I have all the original invoices and even tracked down the original dealer and managed to get more info and a postcard pic of my car sitting next to many other Mustangs on the lot for sale in 1970 at the original Ford dealer in Springfield, Missouri.

The one with the nos original Magnum 500 and Polyglas tires is when I just got the car in 1996 and the others were taken when I sold my old home to move my cars 3 years ago. I will dig up a some more and send them your way.
Editor note: A picture of this car was given to us by Ronald van der Meijs on October 16, 2018 who runs his own hobby site on Facebook called Mustang Twister Special. Ronald knew Terry from prior to 2011 and has a fair amount of pictures of cars with confirmed VINs, with unfortunately no further contact information for their owners at that time. Below is a confirmed picture of the car in question with an unknown photo date.
